ABOUT US

The PMDD Collective is the brainchild of Ally and Emily, two therapists who specialise in working with PMDD. Between them, they have over two decades of experience working in mental health. Keep reading to find out how the Collective came about and what they do!

Noticing the lack of professionals who recognise, understand and work with PMDD, they knew they had found their calling — creating a way for everyone impacted by PMDD to get the right support.

Emily and Ally knew that two people couldn’t do it all and sought out like-minded professionals who also believe in the importance of supporting people impacted by PMDD.  As a collective, their values include flexibility, accessibility and inclusivity.

We love working with other professionals and supporting the growing community of PMDD informed services.

The Collective consists of mental health and wellbeing professionals who work in a PMDD-informed way. It includes a team of qualified counsellors and psychotherapists offering 1:1 therapy, mindfulness practitioners and yoga teachers, all offering PMDD-specific support. They provide training to educate professionals, parents, friends, and family about PMDD. Alongside this, the therapists run therapeutic groups for people impacted by PMDD.

We are a team of professionals who work with the whole person and know that the symptoms are not the person. They believe in the importance of being seen, understood, and empowered, and know how life changing it is to be validated and accepted.

If you would like to know more about how we can support you, how you can join us or what we can offer, then drop us a message; we'd love to hear from you!
